Lay the watch on its side or hold the case securely while allowing the bracelet to extend naturally. Add photographs of the clasp open, end links, screws or pins and the full link count.
Do not pull aggressively to exaggerate or test the wear. Clear ordinary positioning is enough.
Should I repair it before selling?
Request an as-is valuation first. An unsuitable repair can damage original links, change finishing or cost more than it adds to the offer.
Keep loose links and any previously removed clasp or bracelet parts with the watch so the buyer can assess all available options.
