Submit the same core watch details
Provide the brand, reference, serial privately when requested, condition, service history and complete photograph set. The country of purchase does not replace the need to identify the physical piece.
Mention whether the watch was bought new, pre-owned, through an authorised retailer or from another seller. Do not guess where the history is unknown.
Documents can explain provenance
An overseas receipt, matching warranty card, service invoice, payment record or import document can support the ownership trail. Keep originals safe and share only the relevant details through a verified private channel.
Documents do not authenticate the watch by themselves. Serial details, configuration and physical construction still need to be consistent.
Warranty and regional differences
Manufacturer warranty terms, service history and accessories can differ by period and market. A buyer may need to confirm whether a document is transferable or relevant in Australia.
Some references also have region-specific dials, engravings or packaging. These differences should be identified rather than automatically treated as a problem or a premium.
Complete an Australian direct sale
The quote considers current condition, originality, completeness, demand and any uncertainty in the history. Identification and ownership checks apply before completion.
If import, tax or legal questions are material to your circumstances, seek appropriate professional advice. The quote itself should not rely on assumptions about those obligations.
Guide content is general information. A direct-purchase quote is based on the details and photographs you provide. If a material difference is found, we contact you before any change is made.
