Start with a remote valuation request
Provide the brand, model, reference if known, condition, service history and everything that accompanies the watch. Photograph the dial, case, back, sides, crown, bracelet or strap, clasp and visible issues.
If you accept a quote, the acceptance page asks for your postcode so the team can arrange the practical handover route. The quote is based on the information and photographs supplied.
Confirm collection before packing
When we agree to proceed, Lost Watches may arrange DHL collection case by case after the watch and process have been discussed. Any transit cover is confirmed in writing. Never send a watch to an address or courier account until the team has given you direct instructions.
Confirm who is responsible for the shipment, what should be included and how the watch will be recorded. Be cautious of messages that change the courier or destination unexpectedly.
Pack only as instructed
Keep the watch from moving inside its inner protection and separate hard accessories from surfaces that can scratch. Boxes, papers and spare links may need their own secure wrapping.
Do not write luxury brand names on outer packaging or conceal information requested by the carrier. Photograph the watch and contents before closing the parcel and retain the agreed records.
Verification and completion
After arrival, routine checks confirm identity, authenticity, function and completeness against the submission. The purchase paperwork and payment are then completed.
If a Material Difference is found, the buyer contacts you before any change is made. A professional interstate sale should be understandable before the watch leaves your possession.
Guide content is general information. A direct-purchase quote is based on the details and photographs you provide. If a material difference is found, we contact you before any change is made.
