Offer terms explained

How does a watch purchase offer work?

A watch purchase offer is the price a buyer is prepared to pay based on the details and photographs supplied. You review and accept that price before handover, followed by routine verification of the watch and ownership information.

What the quote is based on

The buyer uses the stated reference, configuration, condition, service history, accessories and photographs to prepare a direct-purchase amount. Clear information produces the clearest quote.

The quote applies to the exact watch described, not every watch carrying the same model name.

What verification confirms

After acceptance, routine review confirms identity, authenticity, function, serial details and the items submitted with the watch.

It also confirms that papers and spare parts belong to the piece and that ownership requirements can be completed.

If something differs materially

A materially different reference, undisclosed damage, non-original components, missing agreed accessories or an undisclosed mechanical problem must be explained before any change is made. Normal marks already shown are not a surprise.

The buyer should identify the difference and contact you before any change is made. A clear photo set reduces avoidable differences.

What happens if you decline

You are not obliged to accept a Purchase Offer. If you accept, review the handover and return terms before sending the watch.

Lost Watches buys directly rather than placing the watch on consignment. Ownership changes only after the completion process is recorded.

A quote is specific to the watch.

Guide content is general information. A direct-purchase quote is based on the details and photographs you provide. If a material difference is found, we contact you before any change is made.
