From quote to completion
Your quote is based on the supplied facts and photographs. After acceptance, routine authentication, function and ownership checks confirm the watch matches that basis.
If something differs materially, the buyer should explain it and contact the seller before making any change.
Identity and account details
A registered dealer may require identification, authority to sell and transaction records. Payment details should correspond with the agreed seller or authorised entity.
Never send identity documents to an unverified address. Use the private channel and confirm unexpected requests through the published telephone number.
Cleared funds versus evidence of payment
A bank screenshot can be edited and a transfer can be pending, delayed or recalled in some circumstances. Confirm payment through the agreed process rather than relying only on an image supplied by another party.
High-value transactions can also trigger bank checks. Timing should be discussed without pressuring either side to bypass verification.
Documenting completion
The transaction record should identify the watch, seller, agreed amount, date and any relevant conditions. Ownership should change only through the process agreed by both parties.
Lost Watches confirms payment and handover details directly with the seller.
